Our teachers are in
an impossible situation

An article in today's Huffington post reports that Teacher Job Satisfaction has dropped to a new low. 

Most people I know would never just stand-by and watch if they saw a child in harm's way. ...and yet our whole country has allowed this horrific situation: we've put all of our kids directly in harm's way by not properly funding their education.

Our teachers work under impossible conditions: workloads have doubled, they have no books, paper or supplies, and they are routinely blamed for failures.
A heart-felt thank you to all teachers who are able stick it out!

NYC schools, whose budgets are already cut to the BARE bones, are facing yet more cuts next year. ~~~ How can we let this happen? ~~~ How can we stop it? ~~~ How can we fix it?
