Henry Winkler has openly shared his struggles with reading since I was in high school. More importantly, he talks about how he doesn't let his difficulties prevent him from pursuing and achieving his goals. Following Henry Winkler's accounts over the years has helped me learn to be comfortable with myself. 

This is why I share my struggles with reading with my students: it has not been an insurmountable obstacle for me, and so it should not be for them.
