It appalls me that there is such a blatant correlation between poverty and class size in NY State schools!
Politicians and school administrators scratch their heads and/or point fingers when they are asked how to bring-up the performance levels of schools is poorer neighborhoods. This data, coupled with the abundance of data correlating student performance to smaller class size, suggests that the answer is obvious: smaller classes.
