HS Students Explain the Real
Problem with the "Common Core"
November 24, 2013

Ironically, in speaking out about the development of the new "Common Core Standards" in education, Tennessee high school student Ethan Young embodies all that we SHOULD be nurturing in our students: creative and critical thinking, sound research skills, informative and accessible presentation, well-spoken reasoning and explanation, a sincere commitment to community, and (most of all) intelligence.

Ethan Young has done his research, and what he has found is that the new push in education reform has nothing to do with educating our children.

In Arkansas, another High School student, Patrick Richardson, presents more detailed and chilling account of the flaws with the development of the "Common Core Standards," and who really benefits from this "educational reform."
